This page explains the different license types available on Codexse and what you can do with the products you purchase.

1. Standard License

The Standard License is included with every purchase on Codexse. It grants you the following rights:

What You Can Do

  • Personal Projects: Use the product in your personal projects, portfolios, and non-commercial work
  • Commercial Projects: Use the product in commercial projects for yourself or your clients
  • Modify: Edit, customize, and adapt the product to fit your needs
  • Unlimited Projects: Use the product in unlimited end products
  • Web and Print: Use in websites, apps, presentations, print materials, and more

What You Cannot Do

  • Resell or Redistribute: You cannot sell, share, or distribute the original product files
  • Create Competing Products: You cannot use the product to create a template, theme, or UI kit for sale
  • Transfer License: The license is non-transferable and cannot be shared with others
  • Claim Authorship: You cannot claim to be the original creator of the product
  • Remove Attribution: Do not remove copyright notices from the files if required by the product

2. Extended License

Some products offer an Extended License for additional uses. The Extended License includes everything in the Standard License, plus:

  • Products for Sale: Use in end products that are sold to multiple users
  • SaaS Applications: Use in software-as-a-service applications
  • Merchandise: Use on physical products for sale (t-shirts, mugs, etc.)

4. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use products in multiple projects?

Yes, both Standard and Extended licenses allow unlimited use in end products.

Can I use products for client work?

Yes, you can use products in work you create for clients. However, the license stays with you, not the client.

Do I need a license for each team member?

Each individual or seat needs their own license. If 3 designers will use the product, you need 3 licenses.

What if I create a template for sale?

Creating competing products (templates, themes, UI kits) for sale is not permitted under either license. Contact the seller for custom licensing arrangements.
